Welcome to the Eighteenth Annual Carolina Classic Derby!

North Carolina was the Home of the Original NRHA Derby. It was hosted here in the early 80's. It later moved to Minnesota and is now in Oklahoma City.

The Carolina Classic is one of the longest running Derbys in one the country. We have been promoting Reining Horses since 1991. Thank you for your continued support.

This year's payout for the Carolina Classic Derby will be almost $100,000!

We have also partnered with the Atlantic Breeders Incentive to host their Derby. That payout will be $24,000. Which brings us to a grand total of $124,000 for the combined Derbies.

The ancillary classes will pay out approximately $20,000.

The grand total for the entire show will be around $144,000!

We would like to give special recognition to the Martin County Travel Development Authority for sponsoring the Saturday night's exhibitors party. Please join us at the Filling Station after the Open finals for food and fellowship. This will be a great opportunity to congratulate our Derby winners.

Also we want to remind everyone of the Carolina Classic's commitment to the NRHA Youth which is the future of the industry and the world. We proudly contribute $1000 to the Reining Horse Sports Foundation for Scholarships to be divided between our high scoring Youth division champions.

In addition we will be giving out year end bronze trophies to the high money winning Green Reiner and Rookie riders.
